Lillian Andres, age 94 of Kettering, passed away May 13, 2022. She was born May 6, 1928 in Toledo, OH to the late Milton Jeffries and Irene Greeley. In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Andres.
She is survived by her three daughters, Nancy Campbell, Sally Gary and Betty (Greg) Cline; grandchildren, Jeff, Chris, Jason, Laura, Jennifer and Cheryl; 10 great-grandchildren, 14 great great-grandchildren; loving sister, Pat Jeffries; loving brother, Milton Jeffries and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.
Lillian worked as a unit secretary at Kettering hospital for 20 years. After retiring in 1987, she and Henry bought a store in Waynesville, naming it Andres Stuff Store, which later became Lilly's Corner Mall, named after her. Because of her love for Christ, Lillian also was very involved in her church and supported many missionaries. She was very much involved in children's ministry because of her love for children and she gave to St Jude Children's Research Hospital. Of course she was very supportive of her family through all of life's challenges in every way she could, emotionally, financially-whatever the need, she was there. Lillian was much loved by all who knew her and will be forever missed, yet we are so thankful that God gave her to us, and we know she is now no longer suffering and is in Heaven rejoicing with her Savior, with our Dad and many other family and friends.
Family will receive guests from 5-7 PM on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Fairhaven Church (637 E. Whip Rd., Centerville, OH 45459). A funeral service will begin at 10 AM on Monday, May 23 at the church. Interment will follow the service at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens, Centerville.
