Lila R. Harlett, age 88, of Dayton, passed away on June 25, 2021, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Harlan, Kentucky, on June 18, 1933, the daughter of the late Irvin and Ruby Reasor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bob Reasor and Cliff Reasor; sister, Freida Chitwood; and step-sons, David J. Harlett and Timothy L. Harlett.
Lila is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Robert "Bob" Harlett; daughter, Deborah (Steve) Mowen Wion; grandson, Jason Mowen; step-daughters, Karen (Mark) Pizzo and Rita (Jerry) Ward; step-son, Edward Harlett; and many other loving step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Lila retired from Kroger, where she was a Cashier for almost 20 years. She was a member of North Riverdale Lutheran Church for 46 years. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, playing Solitaire and going on Sunday drives with her husband. Lila was an excellent hostess, she made sure no one left her home hungry and that they always felt welcome. She was always supportive to everyone in her family. Lila will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am-12:00pm, on Friday, July 2, 2021, at North Riverdale Lutheran Church, 45 Kurtz Ave., Dayton, where Funeral Services will begin at 12:00pm with Pastor Monte Stevens officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton.
