Lida "Katie" Catherine Critchfield, age 82, of Kettering, OH passed away Thursday April 25, 2013 at MVH after a lengthy illness.
She was born October 10, 1930 to Edward and Della Greenwood in Dayton, OH. Katie lived her life in Dayton and was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Leroy Critchfield and her parents.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Cynthia Carrasas (Steve), Amy Kasprzak (Robert), and Nancy Brown; 4 dear grandchildren, Andrea (John), Michael, Ashlen, and Dean Jr.; 2 precious great grandsons, Mitchell and Leland; sisters, Ruthanne Etter and Jeanne Craden; brother, Tom Greenwood (Kathy Maxwell); many nieces and nephews, and special friends, Charlie and Golda Johnson.
In addition to being a homemaker, Katie volunteered at Stillwater caring for handicapped children and at Womanline.
Funeral service is Monday April 29, 2013 at 1pm at David's Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, Kettering, OH.
Family Friend, Harrell VanNorman officiating.
Reception will follow in the Gathering Room.
