Lewis W. Jackson, age 71, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Grandview Hospital. He was born June 9, 1939 in Dayton to Walter W. and Electa P. Jackson.
Survived by wife of 51 years, Leaenelle Jackson; daughter and son-in-law, Leah and William Leslie; grandson, Lewis and Amberlei; great grandchildren, Jane, Lewis, and Jerry; brother, Robert Jackson; sisters, Hazel Melea, Lydia Hasty, Electa Cales, and Florence Woodruff; and many other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Pastor Ernie Hasty will officiate. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
