Isham, Lewis F., age 84, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Patriot Ridge Community, Fairborn. He was born August 23, 1923 in Harriman, TN, the son of Walter & Lillie (Whaley) Isham. He served in the US Air Force during WWII and was the owner and operator of Dayton Sweeper Repair. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Paul, Larry, & Clarence Isham. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Virginia (Peacock) Isham; sons, Stephen L. (Karen R.) Isham of Columbus and Jim Miracle of CA; daughter, Connie Cochran of Dayton; grandchildren, Todd Isham, Tiffany Miller, Amie Shoemaker, Jonathan Cochran, & Jimmie, David, and Melissa Miracle; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Lucille Anderson of FL; brother, Stan Isham of Dayton; and brother-in-law, Dick (Pam) Peacock of Englewood. Funeral services will be held at 7 PM on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH with Pastor Don Godbey officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 PM until the time of services. Private burial will be held at Woodland Cemetery.
