Letty Ellen Brown

Letty Ellen Brown, born on September 4, 1946, was a beloved figure in her family and community until her passing on February 26, 2025. Letty lived a life defined by her unwavering commitment to her loved ones and her delightful sense of humor, which brought joy to those around her. Letty was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond O'Neal Brown and her mother, Reva Click.

A devoted mother, Letty is survived by her children, Robin (Todd) Allen and Mark (Misty) Brown. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Sierra (Bennie) Rosselott, Rachel (Mike) Heindel, and Wade (Autumn) Stamper. She also held a special place in her heart for her great-grandchildren, Timothy, Benjamin, Layla, Zoe, and Ellie, who brought immense joy to her life. Letty was extremely protective of her family and embraced every moment spent with them, demonstrating a will of iron and an abundance of love.

A sister to Goldie Vann, Letty also leaves behind her niece and nephew, Steven Thompson and Amanda Prevatt, and many more family members and friends who knew and loved her dearly.

In addition to her family ties, Letty was known for her vibrant personality. A lover of nature, she found immense joy in tending to her garden, taking pride in the beautiful blooms that blossomed under her care. She also frequented Carriage Hill in Huber Heights, further enriching her love for the outdoors. Known as the "garage sale queen," Letty delighted in discovering hidden treasures, often driving by garage sales to pick out the best items available.

Her funeral service will be held at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, OH on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. The visitation will begin at 12:00pm, followed by the funeral service at 1:00pm.

Letty Ellen Brown will be remembered for her loving spirit, infectious laughter, and steadfast devotion to her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her remarkable life.
