Letha J. Gudgell

Letha J. (Lawson) Gudgell age 85 of Germantown, Ohio passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter on Monday, January 12, 2009. Letha was born to the late William and Lessie (Tucker) Lawson on April 27, 1923 in Clinton County, Ohio. She is survived by daughters; Mary (Billy) Myers and Susie (Terry) Sams, 8 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Omer D Gudgell and daughters, Carol Anne Gudgell and Margaret White. She was employed in the food service industry. Letha loved fishing and playing cards and taking trips with her family, especially to Las Vegas. She will be deeply missed by her family and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 15, 2009 from 10-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel 3940 Kettering Blvd. Kettering, Ohio 45439. The service will begin at 11am with internment following at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Pastor Don Payne officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Dayton.
