Lester P. Fager

Lester P. Fager, age 89, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, July, 12, 2008 at his home. Lester was born on October 5, 1918 in Dayton. He served in the Army during WWII at the Battle of Bulge. He retired from Pitney Bowes, a member of the Masons and Scottish Rite. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy; brothers Dick Fager and Ralph Fager; sisters Gertrude Croft, Ruth Huchins, Viola Byrd and Anna Marie Fager. Lester is survived by his son Jim Fager; sister–in law Lillian McGarvey; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 from 10-11 am at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd.) The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park.
