Lester B. Bornhorst

Lester B. Bornhorst, 95, of Kettering, OH passed away on March 18, 2018. Born in McCartyville, OH to the late Edwin and Amelia (Ernst) Bornhorst. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Ann (Lotspih) Bornhorst.
Lester is survived by his children, Gerald Bornhorst and Cynthia Bornhorst-Winslow (Alvin); granddaughter, Camille Winslow; sisters, Katherine Buhrman and Patricia Coy, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Les served in the United States Air Corp during WWII. He also had his own construction company for many years before he started a woodworking business producing parts for Model A automobiles, which he did for over 40 years.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Thursday, March 22, 2018 at St. Albert the Great Church, 3033 Far Hills Ave. Kettering, OH 45429 where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 pm. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
