Lester Andpricie Ison

Lester and Pricie Ison, age 97 & age 95, of Xenia. He passed away January 23, 2024, and she passed away on January 24, 2024. They were both born in Bruin, Kentucky. Lester was born on August 29, 1926, the son of the late Orville and Audrey Ison. Pricie was born on August 5, 1928, the daughter of the late Claude and Lula Mullins.

They were preceded in death by their parents; their dear son, Jerry Ison; special cousin, Frank Ison; Lester's siblings, Ishmael Ison, Phillip Ison, Raymond Ison, Ruby Whitt, Janice Blevins and Sharon; Pricie's siblings, Charlie Mullins and Eulah Kendall.

They are survived by their loving son, Jeff (Sandy) Ison; grandchildren, Jason, Joshua, Jeremy Ison & Jeremy and Andy Nickel, and Stephanie Yeakle; great grandchildren, Julia, Hunter, Dezmond, Lily, Jonathan, Jameson, Mally, Maxwell, Maicy, Seirra and Kennedi; Pricie's nieces and nephew, Carlyn (Jim), Ivetta (Dean) and Rondall (Frances); her dear shopping friend, Connie (Dean); and many other loving family and friends.

Lester served his country proudly by serving in the United States Army. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of employment. Lester was also the Jasper Twp. Trustee for 18 years and the Owner of Ison & Sons Furs for many years. They were both members of Liberty Worship Center in Xenia. In their free time, they enjoyed fishing, farming, going to garage sales/flea markets, hosting auctions and spending time with family.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am-12:00pm, on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Liberty Worship Center, 1183 Upper Bellbrook Road, Xenia, where a Celebration of their Lives will begin at 12:00pm, with Pastor Paul Damron officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens, Xenia.
