Leroy J Shade

Leroy Shade, age 79, passed Sept 27,2018 after a long battle with cancer. Leroy was a native of Dayton Ohio. He attended Vandalia Butler high school.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Virgil and Yvonne Shade, one sister, Janet Shade , one granddaughter, Annie Marie Tangeman.

He is survived by a wife of 60 years Elizabeth Shade and by 3 daughters and 1 son Allen shade ( Megan) of Golden,CO, Cindy Luce (Mike) of Beavercreek,OH, Robin Kraft ( Mick) of Centerville, OH, Kim Shade of Kettering , OH; granddaughters Sara Mulkey ( Brian), Lacey Circle (Nick), Erin Morris (Clinton), step granddaughter, Julie Kraft; great grandson, Wesley Allen Circle, brothers, Robert (Mary) Shade, Ronald (Jodie) Shade; sister, Shirley (Lloyd) Smallwood; numerous cousin,nephews, nieces family and friends.

Leroy is a member of West Carrollton Church of the Nazarene.

Leroy worked in the grocery business for many years including Kroger Company as a produce manger. Leroy received awards for merchandising and sales.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 11 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions Center 3380 Dayton Xenia RD Beavercreek, OH 45432. Family will receive friends 10 am until time of service. Final resting place will be Forest Hill Memorial Gardens Tipp City,OH. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Leroy Shade's name to Hospice of Brookdale .
