Leroy Eugene Schlereth

SCHLERETH, Leroy E., age 77 of Dayton, passed away in Corbin, KY on May 26, 2017. Leroy worked as plumber for many years in the Dayton area. He was an avid racing fan and enjoyed watching all types of auto racing. He was a caring and loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

He is survived by his son, Doug (Kimberly) Schlereth; and daughter, Beth (Ray) Sullivan; grandchildren, Amber, Jessica, Ethan and Samuel; 3 great grandchildren; wife, Sue Schlereth; brothers, Don (Maurita) Barrett, John (Jan) Barrett, Bob (Dar) Schlereth, and Dan (Norma) Barrett; sister, Sue Knight; special nephews, Kevin and Joey Rogers; and many other loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel at 11am. Visitation for one hour prior (10am-11am). Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
