Age 80, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2007, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Leroy is survived by his wife of the past 57 years, Ruby J. (Ciarlo) Greaver; seven children and their spouses, Clifford & Patricia Greaver, Shelia Bryant, Ethel & Larry Watkins, Tony Greaver, Roberta Greaver, Brenda & Mark Bayes, L. Eugene Jr & Joritta Greaver; eight grandchildren, Nancy, Lena, Brandon, Elizabeth, Courtney, Lucas, Nicholas, and Victoria; one great grandson, Christian; and by one brother, Ed & Martha Greaver.
Leroy was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during WW II. He retired in 1986 from the McCauley Corporation with 36 years of service.
The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers contributions should be made in memory of Leroy to the Susan G. Kohman Breast Cancer Foundation.
