Leonard Watson, age 77, passed away in Dayton, OH on Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Leonard was born on August 29, 1937 to the late Leonard and Lillie Mae Watson. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary R. Watson; devoted son, Jonathan W. (Shirley) Owens; a host of grandchildren, including special grandchildren, Darrell Owens and Dionne Owens; great-grandchildren, including special great-grandson James Perkins; and numerous relatives and friends. Leonard was an employee of GM for 36 years.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 13, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439). A service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at West Memory Gardens.
