Leonard "Len" Meek
Age 73 - born July 24, 1945 and passed away Monday, July 1, 2019
Visitation with the family will be Friday, July 5, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a service at 11:00 am, both at Newcomer Funeral Home 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432.
He grew up in Paintsville, KY and played golf, football, basketball & baseball for Paintsville High School. He was the number one golfer in the state of Kentucky his senior year. Leonard was inducted into the Paintsville High School's Alumni Hall of fame in 2005.
Leonard worked over 25 years in banking and finance and retired from National City Bank.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alpha and Authie, brothers Charlie and Authie, Jr. and his sister Irene.
Leonard is survived by his wife Rose Mary, his sons Jeff and Tony, his daughter-in-laws Suzanne and Lindsay, his grandchildren Jennifer, Morgan, Nora and Matthew as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was a lifelong golfer and found peace on the links. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leonard's honor to Hospice of the Miami Valley.
