WRIGHT, Leonard Eugene, Sr.
age 77 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2006 at the VA Medical Center. Leonard was born December 25, 1928, in Beardsfork, WV. He served our country in the United States Army during World War II and the Korean War. He was the finest brick mason in the Dayton area. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Cynthia Wright; children, Starla Rimkus, Tamela (Harv Glenn) Wright, Cindy (Guy) McAdams, Sean (Hope) Wright, and Charles Wright; Ronald, Leonard "Toby" III, Stacey (Steve) Pence, Jacob, Missy, Amanda, Sean, April; great grandchildren, Ashlynn Powell, Lauren, and Adam; brother, Kenneth (Waleta) Wright; sisters, Helen Meadows and Midge Bays; nephews, Jeff Wright, Gary and Larry Walden. He was preceded in death by his son, Leonard Wright Jr. Family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Dayton National Cemetery.
