Leona C. Novak

Novak, Leona C., born January 15, 1932 in Wheeling, W.VA., passed away December 20, 2007 in Utah.

Leona was preceded in death by her parents: George & Helen Baier; husband: Thomas Novak; and great nephew Jorey Eldridge. She is survived by her stepson and wife: Tim and Angi Novak and their children of PA; brother George Baier Jr.; sister and husband: Florence & Richard Kiddle; nephews: Mike Eldridge, Joe and wife Mary Eldridge, Larry and wife April Eldridge; neice: Debra and husband Dan Unterman; great nephews: Brandon & James Eldridge; great nieces: Riley & Erin Eldridge; and dear friends: Joe & Jolene Stubbs and family of Utah.

Leona retired from DESC and was a member of the 25 Year Club, with whom she took many wonderful trips. She attended Ohmer Park United Methodist Church and was a member of the Red Hat Society of which she was the Queen.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, December 29 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until time of services. Interment will be held privately at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ohmer Park United Methodist Church.
