Leon Tipton, age 66, of Kettering, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, May 22, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe & Madeline Tipton.
Leon is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Barb Tipton; children, Dave & his wife Sandy Tipton and Amanda Tipton; grandchildren, Justin Harrison, Renee Tipton and Troy Blommel; sisters, Ruby Gross, Laura and her husband Ron Music, Connie Tipton and Earlene and her husband Steve Southard; brother, Wally and his wife Sue Tipton; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 24, 2013 from 10-11 am at Parkview Church of the Nazarene (4701 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, OH 45429). The service will follow at 11 am. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
