Leon Bowser

Leon Charles Bowser, age 79 of Huber Heights, passed away April 17, 2011. He was born September 21, 1931 in Cessna, PA to the late John and Dorothy Bowser. In addition to his parents, Leon was preceded in death by his wife, Marian Bowser; and brothers: William and James Bowser.

Leon is survived by son, Greg (Nancy) Bowser; grandchildren: Jason (Laura) Bowser and Daniel Ratliff; sisters: Lavone Whisel and Carol Dull; brother, Gary Bowser; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Leon is also survived by his beloved dog, Kaylon IV.

Leon was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served during the Korean War. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons, where he earned the 32nd degree honor.

A private graveside service will be held for the family at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford, PA. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road and Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, PA.
