Leo "Todd" Zwayer, age 56, of Clayton, passed away December 8, 2021.
He was born June 26, 1965 in Ashville, Ohio to Leo Kent Zwayer and Nancy Mary (Wardell) Rich. Todd graduated from Teays Valley High School, Class of 1983. During his high school years he was very active in the marching band, the track team, cross country, and was the manager of the girls' basketball team.
At the age of 17, Todd enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he spent 22 years of proud service. During his years of service he was a proud Cook, a Drill Instructor and most notably he had a positive impact on everyone he encountered. Todd's ability to connect and motivate on a personal level helped further his fellow brothers and sisters careers and lives.
Todd retired in 2006 and dedicated himself to Bethel Lutheran Church and various Feeding Ministries in the area including "Breaking Bread","Faith Mission" and St. Matthews Lutheran Church. In honor of his step-father Robert Lee Rich, Todd continued his legacy at the Ashville Food Pantry to carry on assisting those in need.
Todd was dedicated to his family always willing to lend a helping hand to family members in need. Everyone was welcome to all holiday celebrations.
Todd considered his two daughters, Jocelyn and Kaitlyn, the biggest accomplishment of his life. He was fiercely proud and supportive of them and loved them without end.
He was preceded in death by his father Leo Kent Zwayer, his step-father Robert Lee Rich, and his sister Tracy Van Meter.
Todd is survived by his beloved daughters, Jocelyn (Ryan) Sutton, Kaitlyn (Kenneth Jones) Zwayer; two grandchildren, Ryleigh and Harley; his mother Nancy Mary Rich; his sister Joyce (George) Nyswaner; many nieces, nephews, friends and his brothers and sisters in the Marines.

A Celebration of Todd's life will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Todd's home.
