Leo R. "Big Sonny" Reaver, Sr., age 72 of Dayton, passed away August 11, 2012. He was born May 4, 1940 in Dayton to the late Wilford and Betty Reaver.
He is survived his son, Leo R. "Sonny" Reaver, Jr.; grandchildren: Leo Robert Reaver, III, Brandon Wilford Reaver and Adam Isaiah Reaver; sisters: Egheline "Sugie" (Robert) Ankeny, Rose Ankeny and Carmella (Joseph) Biscoe; brother, John Delaberta; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Big Sonny was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, August 20, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 12:30 – 1:30 pm. Burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery.
He is survived his son, Leo R.
