Lenora Grace Vance

Lenora Grace Vance, age 77 of Miamisburg, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024. She was born December 20, 1946 in New Albany, Mississippi the daughter of the late Audria and Grace A. Smith. She Graduated from Fairborn High School and earned her Bachelors Degree from Park College and Masters Degree from University of Houston Clearlake. Lenora worked at Wright Patterson Airforce Base for 35 years for the National Air and Space Intelligence Center. She was a member of Centerville Church of Christ and was very active in her church community. Lenora was a volunteer worker at the polls for many years. Lenora loved her large extended family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a devoted Mom, 'Grammy', and Friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

Lenora is survived by her Husband of 57 years, John E. Vance; Children, Kimberly M. (Bryan Underwood) Vance, and John C. "Jay" Vance; Grandsons, Vance and Jack Underwood; Sisters, Barbara Powell, Brenda (Michael) Mamula, and Pamela D. (Dennis) Zweifel; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her mother: Grace A. Smith; Brothers, Dairl, Bobby, and Charles Smith; and Sisters, Vivian L. Rhea, and Minnie Greene.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Centerville Church of Christ Memorial Fund or CancerFree Kids.

Visitation will be Friday, March 22, 2024 from 3:00 pm until the time of the service at 4:00 pm at Centerville Church of Christ (1411 Old Spring Valley Court, Dayton, Ohio 45458).
