Lenora Snook

Snook, Lenora, age 85, of Tipp City, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Mercy Siena Retirement Community. She was born April 22, 1923 in Catlettsburg, KY, the daughter of James Russell & Julia Etta (Clark) Kelley. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Charlene Dobbs, Betty Salyers, Phyllis Young; and her brothers, Jack Kelley and Billy Kelley. Survivors include her children, Carolyn (Bill) Adams of Vandalia, Betty Combs of Tipp City, Christine (Grant) Dixon of Englewood, Franci (John) Schwab of New Carlisle, and Nancy (Bill) Long of Brighton, MI; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and her brother, Fred (Buck) Kelley of Oak Harbor, OH. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, Beavercreek Chapel, with Pastor Brian White officiating. Interment will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens, Xenia, OH. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9 AM until the time of services. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Siena Retirement Community or Hospice of Dayton, who provided such compassionate and excellent care.
