Lenora Doris Anthony

Lenora Doris Anthony was born in West Blocton, Alabama, entered into eternal life on October 13, 2019. She resided in Dayton, Ohio for many years. A member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by husband of 47 years, Napoleon Lee Anthony Sr.; parents, Rayfield Sr. and Winnie Lee Ware; sister, Louise Taylor; brothers, Rayfield Ware Jr. and James Ware. Lenora was a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. Her passion was going to the casino and playing the lottery.

She leaves to cherish and mourn her homecoming to be with the Lord, sister: Shirley Cresham (Denver, Colorado); daughter: Lenora Anthony-Davis; sons: William Wayne Anthony and Pastor Leroy Hines-Anthony (Shawana); 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; special friends; Rose Anderson and Mary Smith; as well as a host of family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Shiloh Baptist Church, 3801 Fairbanks Avenue, Dayton, Ohio. Funeral service will begin at 10:30 am with Rev. Dr. Marcettes L. Cunningham and Pastor Leroy Hines- Anthony officiating. Interment will follow at West Memory Gardens.
