Leonard Wayne Stem, age 58, of Troy, was reunited with his mother & father in Heaven on Sunday, August 20, 2017.
He was born on January 25, 1959 in Sidney, OH. Lenny was a gentle giant.
He taught Dolly what it was like to have a genuine partner in life and taught Gary what it was to be a man: to provide, to listen, and to endlessly love friends and family. Lenny displayed patience, kindness, and an unencumbered enjoyment of the moments in life.
Lenny is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Dolly Stem; son, Gary Scherer and his partner, Cindy Lang; grandchildren, Aidan, Megan and Gavin; brother, William Stem; cousins, David "Muskrat" and his wife, Janet Martin; beloved dogs, Mojo, Trixie and Holly and many other friends and relatives.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
