Leng Bun, age fondly known as Chanthou, passed away on October 10, 2021 at the age of 70. She was born in Cambodia on June 6, 1951 to the late Plong Saing and Muth Chan, and she came to America in 1997. She met her husband through family and friends, and they married on March 10, 1980.
She was a loving mother, and she enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed creating delicious home-cooked meals for her family and Asian cuisine. Some of her favorite hobbies were shopping, especially if something was her favorite color, purple, and watching Thai TV dramas.
One of her wishes was to travel back to her homeland of Cambodia and do merit.
Leng was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Kunsakourn Sun. Her memory will be cherished by her loving children: Veyauta Som Sun, Baurami Som Sun, Kresesa Sun, Pheroun Som Sun, Methoa Som Sun, and Ossa Somphak Sun; grandchildren: Johnny Dihn, Christian Martin, Nathan Sun, Awin Sun, Zayden Sun, Aiden Sun, Alina Sun, and Karonawin Pin; daughters-in-law: Jessica Hernandez and Joanna Le; and many other loving family and friends.
A viewing will be held from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton.
