Lena Smith, age 92 of Huber Heights, passed away January 27, 2014. She was born June 18, 1921 in Pelican Lake, Wisconsin to the late Willie and Florence Tomlin. In addition to her parents, Lena was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Smith; 2 sisters; and 3 brothers.
Lena is survived by her children: Genevieve (Gary) Barker, Virginia Aikman and Norris (Amy) Smith; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; 4 brothers; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, January 31, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 12:30-1:30 pm. Burial to follow at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery, Beavercreek.
