Lena G."Jerri" Woods

WOODS, Lena Geraldine "Jerri", age 81, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Ellar Lou Profitt and brothers, Merle and Kenneth Profitt. She is survived by her husband, Pleasie "Woody" Woods, Jr.; daughter, Judy (Terry) Wilson; granddaughters, Lisa Gallagher, Stephanie Taulbee, Ashley (Josiah) Hoffman; great granddaughter, Mikayla Gallagher; brothers, Fred Profitt and Frank (Virginia) Profitt; sister-in-law, Norma Profitt, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She retired from Delco Moraine after 31 years. Jerri enjoyed bowling and square dancing. Funeral services will be held at 6:30 pm on Friday, February 26, 2010 at Dayton Avenue Baptist Church, 1121 Dayton Ave., Xenia, OH. Pastor Jon Young officiating. Burial will take place in Wolfe County, KY. Family will receive friends from 5:30 pm until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dayton Avenue Baptist Church.
