BARKLEY, Lena [Kitty] 79, of Moore, OK passed away February 9, 2011. She was born November 30, 1931 to Sheldon & Nola Emmons in Kentucky. Lena was a member of Dayton Baptist Church. She retired from Cooper Industries in Dayton, OH. Lena enjoyed fishing and going to garage sales. Her first love was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son Mark Barkley, of Spokane, WA; granddaughter, Elise Renae Barkley, of Spokane, WA; 2 sisters, Juanita Bramel, of Maysville, KY and Joan King & husband Dick, of Moore, OK; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; special thanks to niece, Kim Heidemen and husband Rick of Sommerset, KY.

She is preceded in death by husband, Miles Barkley; daughter, Tamra Sprouse.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home- Beavecreek Chapel, located at 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. in Beavercreek, OH. Interment will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens at Centerville, OH. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 15, 2011 from 5-7 PM and Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 1-2 PM. Arrangements were provided by the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, Moore, OK.
