Lelia Rose (nee: Williams)Klimaski, age 94, of Dayton, OH passed away on Sunday June 1, 2014, at The Suites of Walnut Creek.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter, of 63 years. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory F. (Jackie) and Walter J. Jr. (Silvana); one daughter and son-in-law, Ruth Ann Klimaski Loder (William); eight grandchildren, Joseph (Jackie) Klimaski, Jill Klimaski, Michelle (Brad) Frank, Mark Hartzler, Jennifer (Doug) Kman, Lee Ann (Neil) Lawson, Jennifer Kossler, Matthew (Brittany) Kazee; seven great-grandchildren; one nephew, David Jones, one niece, Carolyn DeRobbio Murphy (Robert) and numerous great nephews & nieces.
Lelia was born and raised in Murray City, OH. She was an avid quilter, doll maker and mink teddy bear maker. She and Walter were members of St. Adalbert Catholic Church in north Dayton for many years.
Interment at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton. A Memorial Mass will be held at the Lima Central Catholic High School Chapel in Lima, OH, on Friday, June 13, at 11am. The family sincerely thanks the staff at The Suites of Walnut Creek and Hospice of Dayton for their loving care of Lelia.
Contributions may be made in Lelia's name to the "Activities" Program at The Suites of Walnut Creek or Hospice of Dayton or the "Kairos" Retreat at Lima Central Catholic High School.
