Leila Izetta Wooton

WOOTON, Leila I., was born June 13, 1946 in Garrett, KY, to the late Michael and Violet (Hancock) Boelyn. Leila lost her long battle with cancer on July 6, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Carolyn and Elbert Wooton; her aunt, Margaret and uncle, Bud Lewis. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, James Wooton; two daughters, Tammy Wooton-Adkins and Jackie Wooton-Cridlin both of Fairborn; five grandchildren all of which she had a hand in raising, Amanda (Jared) Minton, Carolyn Adkins, Darrell Grieser, Tayler Cridlin and Abby Cridlin all of Fairborn; four great-grandchildren, Alyssa Day, Cole Minton, Carter Minton, and the newest addition to our family, Ava Lilly; three cousins, Ron (Brenda) Lewis, Richard Lewis, and Leonard Lewis of Fairborn; a wonderful cousin and loved friend, Mary Verrett as well as several other relatives and dear friends. Private services will be held for the family with immediate cremation to follow. A memorial service will be held at the Wright View Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in her name.
