Leenora "Lee" Morrow, 91, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2012.
Lee was a hard worker who would lend a hand if you needed help. She was passionate about her animals and family history. Lee took care of various family members throughout her life, as well as working for the Dayton State Mental Hospital and owned a plumbing shop as well a general store with her husband. Lee was a navy shipyard hand in VA during WWII. Lee was born in Pocahontas, VA and married Oscar Charles Morrow.
Lee was preceded in death by her husband, O.C. Morrow; parents, William B. and Elsie G. (Martin) Bonner; sisters, Nola G. Webb, Margaret B. Fleming, and Brother, Charles E. Bonner. Lee is survived by her sister, Peggy (Marion) Jones, of Washington Courthouse; nieces, Jean Raypole, of Washington Courthouse, Joy Lemon, of Springfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 18, 2012 from 1-2pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Bevercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432). The service will follow at 2pm, with Pastor Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will take place Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Huntington, WV.
