Lee O. Taylor
Age 81, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2007, at Miami Valley Hospital. Born in Old Osborn, Ohio on July 16, 1926, Lee retired from Hyland Machine Shop and was a veteran in the U. S. Army having served during WW II & The Korean Conflict where he was a recipient of the Purple Heart and numerous medals. Lee was a member of the American Legion and U. C. T. He was an avid fan of Drag Racing and NASCAR and will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, Sue Taylor; daughter, Barbara Taylor of Dayton; son, Roger & Linda Taylor of Beavercreek; granddaughters Holly Taylor of Dayton & Heather Long of Beavercreek; great granddaughters, Taylor Waulk & Kelcie Long; his dog, Boomer; sister, Donna Faye of Piqua; brothers, Don & Jim Taylor of Dayton and by numerous other relatives and many good friends.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, with Pastor Ken Cundiff officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. until time of service.
