MILEY, Lee, age 59, of Beavercreek, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016. He is preceded in death by his father, Dean Miley; his father-in-law, Don Nock, and his brother-in-law, Bob Nock. Lee is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary Ann Miley; mother, Martha Miley; sister, Mardene (Bob) Cosgray; mother-in-law, Rosemary Nock; sisters-in-law, Jonie Nock and Jane (Clancy) Cross; aunt, Mary Umina; nieces, Jenny (Wes) Napier, Heidi (Keith) Wheatcraft, and Anna Nock; nephews, Andrew Nock and Jordan Cross; great-nieces, McKenna Napier and Erestina Wheatcraft; great-nephews, Carter, Terrill, and Jackson Wheatcraft, Corbin Napier, and Parker Cross.
He started his career in law enforcement with the Greene County Sheriff's Office and later joined the Beavercreek Police Department, retiring in 1996. In 1997, he began instructing at various police academies across Ohio. In 2004, he began working for Professional Driving Systems (PDS). Lee enjoyed reading, baking and sharing chocolate chip cookies, vacationing at Disney, spending time with family, and his cats, "Dexter" and "Gracie".
Family will receive friends for a memorial gathering from 4:00-6:00pm on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or a charity of your choice.
