Lee Monroe Lewis Sr., age 71, of West Milton, passed away October 9, 2021. Lee was born in Crab Orchard, West Virginia on September 30, 1950 to Charles and Pearl Lewis.
Lee retired from Good Sam Hospital, where he served as Special Police for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed singing and playing guitar. He really loved music, and he started singing when he was just 3 years old. He was always smiling and never met a stranger. He was a loving father and grandfather, and always spent time with his children and grandchildren. His faith in God was a big part of his life, and he shared the kindness of his heart through his prayers.
Lee was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lewis.
His memory will be cherished by his beloved wife of 18 years, Bonita Lewis; children: Eva Lewis and Lee (Sandy)Lewis Jr.; grandchildren: Elayna Myers, Matthew Hoblit, Jordan Hoblit, and Zachery Lewis; step-children: Sheryl Willis, Edward Bruggeman, and Shawn Bruggeman; sisters Rhonda (Eric) Carmon and Lucille (Don) Fodge; and many more loving family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lee's memory can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
A visitation will be held from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where a funeral service will begin at 1:30pm. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
