Lee Andrew Johnson, Jr. was born May 31, 1965 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Lee Andrew and Juanita Johnson. He attended Dunbar High School in the Dayton Public School system. Lee was employed by Delphi Products of General Motors for most of his employment years. He was a devoted Christian who loved to minister to others about the scriptures and conducted many bible studies with his family and friends, as well as conducted a prison ministry.
Lee was a loving father and grandfather. He was well known in the Christian community. His passion was "to serve those in need". If you called his phone his greeting was always, "This is Lee --- How may I serve you". He was a devoted reader of the Bible and books that detailed History and Prophecy. His love for Yeshua and Yahweh was evident in the way he lived his life and helped others. Lee also loved classic cars and was quite an expert on the Marvel and DC comic books.
On Tuesday, February 7, 2023, Lee fell asleep in death. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lee Andrew and Juanita Johnson; grandparents: James Leslie and Penny Chatmon; sisters: Barbara Jean Harris and Jesse B. Taylor; and brother Frank D. R. Long.
Lee is survived by his daughter Tonia Marie Bell; grandsons: Devan Wilkerson, Jr., Davion Wilkerson, Tramel Johnson; granddaughters: Da'Vonia Wilkerson, De'Aja Wilkerson, LeeAnn Simpson, sister: JoAnn (Frank) Hill, Sr., brothers: James (Doris) Johnson (Virginia), George W. Long (Michigan); a special niece: Terri M. Sims; and long-time special friends and spiritual brothers: Richard Coleman, Brian Lawrence and Bruce Linwood and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
When his grandchildren were asked to give words that describes their Pa-Pa they said the following: Loved, Outstanding, Awesome, Smart, Spectacular, Chili Champion, Prayer Warrior and your brother says you are a sacred "MI".
