Lee M. Doran

Lee M. Doran, age 80, of West Carrollton passed away on October 23, 2023. He was born in Kingston, Pennsylvania on January 3, 1943 to the late James and Lois Doran.

Lee is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Brenda; children, Kevan (Elisa) Doran, Alicia (Barry) Mullins, Dawna Johnson, Daniel (Angie) Kellis, Deanna Kellis; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, James R. (Pat) Doran; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Jean Shields; along with many other family and friends.

Lee was a graduate of Corona High School and Whittier College in California. He worked for 30 years with the Veterans Administration. He retired from the Dayton VA Medical Center as Chief of Supply in 1998. During his retirement, his happiest times were spent with his family, gardening and ballroom dancing. He was an avid reader and enjoyed used book sales. Over his life he owned and loved many dogs and spent many years house boating with friends. Lee's calm and patient presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd. A memorial service will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
