Leanna S. Kellogg

KELLOGG, Leanna S. age 79, of West Carrollton, OH, passed away Friday, June 8, 2007 at Miami Valley Hospital after losing her battle with cancer. Leanna was born in Gallipolis, OH on April 14, 1928, to Luther and Lillie Shoemaker, who are both deceased. Also preceding her in death were four brothers, Paul, Wayne, Daryl, and Kendall Shoemaker and a sister Marjorie Burger. She is survived by her only child, Susan Mosley and her husband Tom, of Germantown, Ohio, two grandchildren Amanda Shell Nichols and J. D. Shell and his wife Rhonda Shell, and one great-granddaughter Eva May Shell, all of Miamisburg, Ohio. Also surviving is a special niece, Karen Burger Finkbiner, of McLean, Virginia, and very dear friend, Jack Meeker, of Centerville. Leanna formerly was employed at the Dayton Bar Association and retired from The Dayton Power and Light Company in 1996. Her love of sports found her involved in the Kettering ladies' softball league, bowling, tennis, golf, and she loved to travel. Family will receive friends at 6:00PM Thursday, June 21, 2007 at Christ United Methodist Church 3440 Shroyer Road, Kettering, OH until time of memorial service at 7:30PM.
