Lawrence Skidmore

SKIDMORE, Lawrence David "Dave", age 67, of Xenia, passed away Friday, July 25, 2008. He was born February 27, 1941 in Sutton, WV, the son of Lawrence L. and Mabel (Sizemore) Skidmore. Dave was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was an avid sportsman. He was a generous and giving father and grandfather. He is survived by his children, Jennifer (Michael) Beatty of Brookville and David (Kelly) Skidmore of Wilmington; two grandchildren, Zachariah "Zack" and Chase; his mother, Mabel; two sisters, Barbara Lamb and Lynn Smith; one brother, Patrick Skidmore. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence L.; one brother, Norman Skidmore. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2008 from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at The Apostolics of Xenia (978 St. Rt. 42 South, Xenia, OH, 45385) where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastors Victor Vera and Brian Ehlers officiating.
