Lawrence Roark Jr.

Lawrence Roark Jr., age 74, passed away September 19, 2016 in West Milton, Ohio. He was born to the late Lawrence Sr. and Martha Roark on September 17, 1942 in Barboursville, Kentucky. JR was a member of the Masonic Lodge #405 and the Local Union #801. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Myra; two children Danny Harris and Pam Ransom; four grandchildren Ben, Brent, Gavin, Shannon; two brothers Lee, Lester and sister Virgie. JR was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Valerie (Tim) Davis and his brother US Roark. A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 10am-11:30am with a funeral service to follow at 11:30am. A Masonic Service will take place at 11:15am. Burial will take place at Dayton Memorial Park. A special thank you to Dr. Charles Hanshaw for his loving care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
