Lawrence S. Mobley

Lawrence S. Mobley "Larry", age 78 of Franklin, passed away February 13, 2024. He was born December 20, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Loreley and Beata (Placek) Mobley. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Beata Ann Mobley.

He is survived by his loving wife, Robin Mobley; two sons, Frank (Deanna) Mobley and David Mobley; step-daughter, Christina (Russell) Blevins; ten grandchildren, Ian (Amanda) Mobley, Rhyse (Kayla) Mobley, Rebekkah Mobley, Corey Mobley, Khrystalle Mobley, Xander Blevins, Lexi Blevins, Drake Blevins, Brielle Blevins, Javen Blevins and one great grandson, Jackson Mobley; siblings, Judy (Robert) Laufer, Janet Lee, John (Janet) Mobley, Mary (George) Spears, David (Melanie) Mobley and Tony (Emma) Mobley; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Larry graduated from Peter's Township high school and later graduated with an Associate's degree from the University of Cincinnati. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Larry worked and retired from AK Steel after 39.75 years of service.

Family will receive guest from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Monday, February 19, 2024 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, (4930 Central Ave., Middletown, OH 45044) where a funeral service with military honors will begin at 2:00 pm.
