Lawrence R. Hurley

Lawrence "Ray" Hurley, age 75, of Dayton, passed away on April 24, 2021. He was born in Chillicothe, OH, on August 24, 1945, the son of the late Lewis and Elsie Hurley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Johnny Hurley; brothers, Arnett, Ted, Bob and Bill Hurley; sisters, Violet Cook, Marcella Cook, Hazel Kinnison and Judy Duncan; and step-son, Jimmy Glascoe.

Ray is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Hurley; son, Danny (Barbara) Hurley; daughter, Kimberly (Mark) Bryant; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Janet Knisley; step-sons, Danny Glascoe and Tommy (Valerie) Glascoe; and many other loving family and friends.

In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-4:00pm, on Friday, April 30, 2021, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, with Funeral Service to begin at 4pm. Following the Services, the family invites family and friends to join them for a time of fellowship.
