Lawrence C Gehrs, age 64, of Kettering, passed away August 18, 2016 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born January 7, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Richard J. and Virginia E. (Strange) Gehrs.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Larry retired after 40 years of dedicated service with Apex Tool Group. Larry loved NASCAR (especially Tony Stewart) and adored his 3 kitties.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Jessica Gehrs and her boyfriend, Johnny Hansen; his devoted girlfriend of 7 years, Jan Levy and her family; and by many friends.
Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439. Larry's family will greet friends from 1:00 pm until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to SICSA.
