Lawrence Faulkner

Lawrence Faulkner, age 86, of Xenia, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at Harmony Nursing Home in Xenia. He was born October 16, 1931 in Woodbine, KY, the son of Walter and Dixie (Osborne) Faulkner. He was a meat cutter at Kroger and retired after more than 20 years of service.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Loretta Faulkner, Thelma Carter, Lucille Cottrell; and brother, Harold B. (Burt) Faulkner.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joan (Fiske) Faulkner; sisters, Ethel Langford, Mildred (Richard) Walker, Christine (Glynn) Cody; brother, Delbert (Roselyn) Faulkner; grandnephew, Justin (Lindsee) Adams; and other family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton Xenia Road in Beavercreek.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to American Heart Association or North Side Christian Church Food Pantry, 733 Country Club Drive, Xenia, Ohio.
