Lawrence E. Kolb

KOLB, Lawrence E., age 67, of Riverside, passed away Tuesday, April 01, 2008. He was born May 3, 1940 in Dayton, OH. He retired from the Waste Collection Dept. at the City of Dayton and was active with side band radio club WhiskeyDelta WD where he was known as "Pinochle". He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Peggy (Rippetoe) Kolb; two children, Brian Kolb and Kim (Ken) Seymour; three grandchildren, Jessica, Brendan, and Julia; one sister, Dee Carter; two brothers, Jim and Dennis Kolb. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Marjorie (Williams) Kolb. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 3, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel where funeral services will be held Friday, April 4, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Dayton.
