Lawrence D. Brightman, Sr.

Brightman, Sr. Lawrence D. "Pops" Age 76 of Dayton, Ohio passed away on August 24, 2013.

Pops was a sweet man, who even during his struggle with cancer always maintained a smile on his face and a joke on his lips. Although he fought a great fight, he lost his battle, and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was also a member of the local Amvets club Post 24 where he enjoyed his time and met some great people as well.

Pops is survived by his brother, Roger (Ruth) Brightman, children, Laureen (Steve) Lipka, Jason, Steve Brightman Sr., Leanne Hawkins (James) , and Telah (Paul) Thompson, Grandchildren, Christina, Steven, Hannah, Steven, Michael (Alecia), Jeremy, Mathew, Geri, Desirae, Theresa, Sean, John, Krystina, Brittney, Brenden, Kaitlyn and 10 Great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Vesta and Percy Brightman, Son, Lawrence D. Brightman Jr., as well as 4 brothers and 1 sister.
