Lawrence Combs

COMBS, Lawrence "Larry" age 77 of Fairborn, passed away Monday, December 19, 2005 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Helen J. Combs, his parents John and Nettie Combs, brothers James, Charles, Kermitt and Lacy Combs. He is survived by his children Billy and wife Sue Combs of Centerville, Bob and wife Teresa Combs of Urbana; grandchildren Daniel, Christopher, Nathan, and Grace; brothers Freeman Combs of Hazard, KY, William and wife June of Dayton, John and wife Geraldine Combs of Hazard, KY, Jerry and wife Connie Combs of Hazard, KY; sisters Lillie Mae and husband William Williams of Dayton, Della and husband Harold Brashear of Hazard, KY; and a host of other relatives and friends. Larry retired from the US Air Force after 20 years of service and the US Post Office after 20 years of service. Larry was a loving father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, December 23, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Road, with Pastor Tom Batterman officiating.
