Age 54, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2007, at Hospice of Dayton. Lawrence was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Claypool and his brother, Robert Claypool. He is survived by his son, Lawrence Wayne & Christy Schwegel and their daughters, Kari Schwegel & Sheila Hughes; step-son, James Schwegel; ten grandchildren; brothers, Joe Claypool, William Rose, David Rose; sisters, Marie Jo Walters, Janice Arthur, Mildred Parsons, Esther Kiskaden, Kathy Dukich and Patsy Childers. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., with interment to follow at the Dayton National Cemetery.
