Lawrence Brewer

Lawrence Brewer, age 89, of Moraine, passed away March 20, 2018. He was born September 23, 1928 in Wolfe County, KY to the late Tilden and Grace Williams Brewer. Family was very important to Lawrence. In his free time Lawrence enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds and reading. Lawrence was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Letha Morris Brewer, 5 siblings, Annell "Jean" (Robert) Kimbrough, Tilden "Junior"Brewer, Wilbur Brewer, Louisa (Jim) VanHoose, Randall (Carol) Brewer, and former sister-in-law, Helen Brewer. Lawrence is survived by his children, Teresa Brewer, Lawrence "Mike" Brewer, Kandi (Charles) Burton, Tammy (Harold) Reed, Terrence Brewer; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Shirley Brewer; many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank the staff Sycamore Glen Health Center of Miamisburg and Hospice of Dayton for their loving care. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Newcomer South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, where service will follow at 11:00 am, Pastor Malachi Dean officiating. Lawrence will be laid to rest with his wife at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Donations may be made in Lawrence's memory to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
