BEATTY, Lawrence E., 64, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2010.
Larry proudly served his country in the Marine Corp in the Vietnam campaign and worked in the tool and die industry in Dayton.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marilyn (Drayton), his daughters and their families, Laura and Thomas Alig , Amanda and Aaron Staack, 3 grandsons, Thomas, Jr., Robert, and Michael Alig, his mother, Juanita Shepard, his sister, Carla Leonard, his brother, Todd Shepard , step-brothers and sisters and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Beatty and sister, Sharon Bogan-Cade.
Visitation will be on Monday, Sept. 13th at the Woodland Cemetery Chapel from 4-6 P.M. There will be testimonials of his life for the first 30 minutes. A Memorial Mass will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, Sept. 14th. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home- South Chapel.
Donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton who gave Larry and his family such wonderful care.
